Tenacious Q&A with Boxer Ali

via Daily Prompt: Tenacious

Sunday morning run was a drag and to keep it going following Tenacious (Imaginary) Q&A with M. Ali made me reach the Finish Line.

1. What is Impossible?
M.Ali: “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
2. The size of Mountain or the Pebble
M. Ali: “It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.”
3. Purpose on the earth
M. Ali: “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”
4. To quit or not to quit Training:
M. Ali:“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’”
5. Everything has a value
M. Ali: “If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can sure make something out of you.”
6. What is Friendship?
M. Ali: “Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.”

And, Finally!
7. Day
M. Ali: “Don’t count the days; make the days count.”
